HOPE IS HERE! A WORLD PREMIERE SCI-FI THRILLER
HOPE, a world premiere production, of a science fiction play by O.P. Hadlock will open February 10th and play through March 5th at the Tenth Avenue Arts Center Main Stage. The production is being produced by the semi-professional theatre company, Talent to aMuse.
HOPE is an original sci-fi thriller stage play, set in the distant future. On an 18-month long interstellar voyage, our crew of six happen upon the long-lost and now derelict exploration ship “Hope”. Greed, avarice, and fear start to bubble to the surface of the crew. Is it just their paranoia or is something stalking them, influencing their behavior? With more than a month still on their journey, can they find a way to counter this evil influence or in the end…is there no hope for any of them?
Starring an incredible collection of some of San Diego’s finest actors this world premiere is directed by the author, the award winning O.P. Hadlock. This will be his 500th show. Leading the cast as Captain John Donovan is Patrick McBride. Devi Noel, Steve Murdock, Carla Navarro, James Steinberg, Brendan MacNeil, Sandy Hotchkiss, and Colette Culberson complete the cast roster.
Performances of HOPE will take place February 10th through March 5th, 2016. Curtain is at 8:00 pm except on Sundays which will start at 4:00 pm. Further information and reservations can be made at 619-940-6813 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets at the door are $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for seniors, military, and students.
